Capriole is the name of an exercise in horse training in the Spanish Riding School. It is a movement in which the horse jumps completely off the ground, kicks its legs out horizontally in the air and then lands again on the same spot. It was used on the battlefield to get rid of soldiers behind the horse and so the horse became a weapon. Now it shows the beautifull collaboration between rider and horse.
