Why doesn't the falcon fly away and choose freedom? What exactly is it that leads to such a behavior that when given the opportunity to be free and never look back, the falcon still returns to the hand of the falconer. Is it loyalty, a form of friendship, is it dependency or simply not knowing any better, being held in confinement. I really don't understand this but I would prefer to think it is loyalty. But then again, who am I.
