Symbiosis

A symbiotic relationship, or symbiosis, is any type of a close and long-term biological interaction between two biological organisms of different species, termed symbionts. When two organisms benefit from each other, the symbiosis is called mutualism. Symbiosis can be obligatory, which means that one, or both of the symbionts depend on each other for survival. This is all based on fysical survival. But is there such a thing as emotional symbiosis? Isn't love a form of symbiosis? We need companionship, social interaction to feel good. Without the connection to another human being, there is emptiness. And after all…Broken heart syndrome is a real thing.
