Greek mythology was an important part of my 'Ancient Greek' curriculum in high-school. The intriguing story of the beautiful Helen, who was kidnapped by Paris and taken to Troy, induced the Trojan war which was one of the most important events in Greek mythology. Menelaos wanted his wife back and send his brother Agamemnon to conquer Troy and bring her back. The city fell to the ruse of the Trojan horse after being besieged for 10 years. In my imagination the Greek build the horse with its hidden chamber from materials from the thousand ships, which sailed to Troy. Boards, poles, bolds and chains formed the cunning present, which through an ingenious plan, led to the fall of Troy.
